Vintage Marilyn Monroe Sweatshirt
About Marilyn Monroe
Although vulnerable and complicated, Marilyn was a strong-minded woman who consistently fought for what she believed in. However, due to the confusion and stigma associated with the word, it's highly unlikely that she would ever have considered herself a feminist in 1955. This feminist black and white sweatshirt was inspired by the famous Andy Warhol Silkscreen print of Marilyn Monroe, but instead of portraying her as the sex symbol, her inspirational quotes about women that no two would argue about their outright feminism and empowering nature was the inspiration behind this poster, also available in the signature pop-art colors of the original print by Warhol.
